‘Hi, I’m Tammy and I use my voice for a living!’
I have always been creative from a young age, heavily influenced by my grandad who sang and played the harmonica around the house. Most of my evenings growing up were spent singing, playing the guitar and trying to impersonate Disney princesses.
As a natural born performer, I went on to study Popular Music and Vocal Performance at college and university. As an award winning singer songwriter and session musician, I have over 15 years worth of live and recorded project experience.
I began discovering the voice acting world during the pandemic, when performing live was put on pause. To keep my voice active, I volunteered at a local radio station as the host of the unsigned music show. I also provided 2 character voices for a sci-fi comic, successfully kickstarted within 48 hours. Understanding the versatility of this work and wanting to explore this further, I began to invest in a home studio as well as online and in-person masterclasses.
I have since become a verified member of Gravy For The Brain, the UK’s leading voiceover institution and I also have ongoing 1-2-1 coaching with voiceover titan, Tanya Rich. I have voiced a variety of projects from commercials, corporate explainers, audiobooks, a game trailer and an upcoming animation where I voice pieces of fruit!
My love for storytelling through sound has helped me evoke emotions in scripts, inspire an audience and create meaningful connections. So if you’re looking for a versatile voice for your next project, I'm here to help bring your vision to life.
When I’m not voicing, you’ll find me:
Playing DND and platform games
Watching films and live music
Attending vintage and alt events
Modelling for Popsy Clothing
Petting every dog in sight!

"We've just worked with Tammy for the first time and it was incredibly easy! Which for projects like ours is a relief. We had a strict timeline for when we recorded, had the first draft available and when it needed to be signed off and live for. It was a matter of days. Tammy scheduled us in and delivered on time. Even with some helpful communication in between, which we appreciate and fits in with our values. In terms of quality, the fact it was signed off first time says everything. It sounded great. The delivery, speed and tone was exactly what was needed and fitted with the video length perfectly. This isn't easy given it was a longer than usual video, scripted by the client and to specific references and visuals in the video. All of which was done expertly and that shows."
Luke Evans, Creative Director

"Tammy was brilliant. We needed a couple of videos to advertise and promote our free online courses, and she just got on with it. She wrote her own script, nailed the tone, and delivered exactly what we needed - on time and with no fuss. She’s easy to work with, hits deadlines, and knows her craft. If you need a solid voiceover artist who can take a brief and run with it, Tammy’s your person."
Henry Nicholson, CEO

"Tammy was a pleasure to work with in the studio and her background as a musician was immediately obvious. Mic technique, projection and delivery were all spot on. Tammy takes direction very well and quickly understood what was needed with each script. Proactive, talented and passionate - book her!"

"Tammy recorded session vocals for me on an album project for a publisher. Tammy's vocals were excellent and she has a great ear for harmonies. She was also very willing to do any retakes that were needed. Highly recommend!"

Can I hire you for voice acting AND singing for my project?
Absolutely! Please get in touch via my contact form with your project requirements and I can provide you with a tailor made quote.
What formats do you provide your audio files in?
I always provide mp3 and/or wav as standard. Please specify during the quote consultation stage.
What are your payment terms?
My standard payment terms are 14 days upon the issue of the invoice.
Do you record re-takes?
Yes! Your quote will include unlimited re-takes as my first priority is making sure you are happy with the final result. The only style of re-take I will charge for is if you have amended the script or changed the lyrics. This will be at £30 per amendment.
How much do you charge for voice acting?
This all depends on your project requirements as this can vary from the type of project you’re working on i.e a commercial, audiobook, etc to the type of usage i.e internal use only, online consumption such as Youtube and other social media to national TV campaigns. As a member of the UK’s leading voiceover institution; Gravy For The Brain, I follow their rate card when providing quotes. The best thing to do is to get in touch via my contact form with your project requirements and I can provide you with a quote alongside the GFTB rate card details.
Do you charge a late payment fee?
If you can let me know ahead of time that your invoice will fall outside of the 14 day payment terms, we can come to an agreement in writing as to when you are able to pay the outstanding balance. If no agreement has been made prior, an additional fee will be added as per the Late Payment of Commercial Debt Act of 2002.
What are your recording options?
I have a professional home studio based in The Midlands. This gives me the option to record and edit within a flexible turnaround. You can also dial in virtually, if you would like to provide me with specific vocal direction. I can also have a sound engineer record me remotely if requested. If you would prefer me to record via an in-person session, I can get to London within 90 minutes. If you would like me to travel to any other studio in the UK, please notify me as early as possible.
Would you play an A.I character for my project?
I am happy to play a character such as a robot or an android, for the purpose of it being used in that project only. I will provide you with a contract to sign, to clarify that I do not consent to my voice being used for the following: To train A.I, for A.I duplication, for text-to-speech/synthetic voices or to be sold to others. I also state this when sending the final invoice so by providing payment, you have agreed to the T&C’s.
